BOISE - A busy pedestrian walkway in Downtown Boise will close for more than two months, as construction crews prepare to build a concourse and sky bridge in the Grove Plaza.
The south spoke of the Grove Plaza, which connects the plaza to Front Street, will be closed to foot traffic starting on Monday. According to the Capital City Development Corporation, the closure will last until December 1.
The 8th Street crossing of Front Street will also be closed, and detour routes will be in place. The east and north spokes will reopen to allow public access through the plaza during the closure of the south spoke.
The sky bridge and Boise Centre concourse are part of the ongoing City Center Plaza and Boise Centre expansion projects. Once complete, sky bridge will span the south spoke.
