MERIDIAN - Fresh off their victory against Rocky Mountain, the Timberline Wolves continued to prove why they belong at the top of the 5A division, beating Mountain View 4-1 on Thursday night. The Wolves scored three goals in the first half, adding another before the Mavericks could find the back of the net.

Eric Bambic, Melvin Bosnjak and Cole Fuller all scored for the Wolves. Goalkeeper Parker Billings recorded five saves on the night.

The Wolves (5-2) will host their biggest rival, Boise, on Tuesday (9/9). The Braves beat the wolves in their last meeting (8/28) with a dominating 4-1 performance.

Mountain View (2-2-1) will travel to Eagle (1-3-1) on Tuesday (9/9).
