BOISE -- There's no place like home, the saying goes, and Idaho Stampede head coach Michael Peck was hoping that a little holiday home cooking would be just what the Stamps need to kickstart their season.

Idaho was just 1 and 10 going into the match-up with Maine.

With the shot clock winding down in the third quarter, Coby Karl had to heave it up and banked it in. That cut the Red Claw lead to one, but the Stampede erased it moments later.

But in the end, not enough gas in the Stampede tank. Maine ran away with a 14 point win.
