BOISE-- In an epic battle that lasted six hours, the Idaho Steelheads defeated the Colorado Eagles, 3-2, in the fourth overtime of Game 6 of the ECHL Western Conference quarterfinals. With the win, the Steelheads win the series four games to two, and now advance to the conference semi-finals where they will face the Alaska Aces.

David de Kastrozza ended the contest with just under three minutes to go in fourth overtime when he beat Marc Cheverie with a quick shot on the right side of the net.

Idaho goal tender Josh Robinson put forth a herculean effort on the night, stopping 83-of-85 shots on goal, which tied the ECHL record. His counterpart, Cheverie was also fantastic in net, stopping 63-of-66 shots.

Idaho will now go on the road to Alaska for Game 1 of the conference semi-finals on Thursday.
