VANCOUVER, B.C.--The Boise Hawks quest for a Northwest League Championship came up on short on Monday night, as the Hawks fell, 5-0, to the Vancouver Canadians.

Vancouver pitcher Tom Robson and two relief pitchers combined for a four-hit shutout in the win.

The Canadians took the lead in the third inning on a two-out hit to centerfield by L.B. Dantzler that scored two runs.Vancouver added three runs in the eighth to lock up their third-straight Northwest League Championship.

The Hawks have now played in 13 Northwest League championships, and have a 6-7 records in title series.Their last championship came in 2004.
