HILLSBORO, Ore.--The Boise Hawks couldn t keep a four-game winning streak going on Sunday, as they fell to the Hillsboro Hops, 6-5, by way of a tenth inning walk-off RBI single.

The Hops jumped out to a 4-1 lead in the second inning, but Boise was able to chip away at that lead.A two-out, two-run double by Kevin Encarnacion tied the game at 4-4 in the fourth inning.The Hawks took the lead in the seventh inning when Lance Rymel roped a two-out single that scored David Bote.

But the Hops responded in the eighth by way of an RBI double by Ryan Gebhardt.The game went to extra innings, and it was Hillsboro that had bases loaded in the bottom of the tenth.With two outs, Yogey Perez-Ramos lined an RBI single to right field, ending the game.

Both teams will face off again on Monday night in Hillsboro.The Hawks will return home on Wednesday.
