Ontario, CA-- The Idaho Steelheads won their fifth consecutive game on Saturday, defeating the Ontario Reign, 3-2, in California.

Austin Smith scored a goal and an assist in the win, and goaltender Tyler Beskorowany stopped 27 of 29 shots.

The Steelheads started fast, scoring a power play in the first period. But Ontario answered with a tying goal before the period ended. But the tie did not last long, as the Steelheads got goals from Adrian Foster and Austin Smith in the secondto take the lead for good.

The Steelheads will face the Reign again on Sunday in the final game of the series.
