BOISE -- An Idaho man put his own spin on the ALS Ice Bucket challenge by using a front-loader to dump ten bags of ice and gallons of water over his head.
"This is how we do the ice bucket challenge in Idaho," Jake Astorquia says in the video, just before the cold water pours down.
Astorquia's video is part of a challenge to raise money for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) a degenerative neurological disease. Participants in the challenge film themselves dumping ice water over their heads, then goad friends or relatives to do the same, or donate to the ALS Association. As of Friday, the group has received $9.5 million in donations.
