MERIDIAN -- A lawn mower sparked a one-acre blaze in Meridian when the mower blade struck a rock, fire officials say.
The blaze started at about 2:20 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Ustick and Eagle Roads.
Crews were able to get it contained in about 15 minutes.
No homes or other structures were threatened, but one lane of traffic was shut down while firefighters attacked the flames.
The fire has been contained, and all roads are now open.
