ADA COUNTY -- Deputies are looking for a driver who lost control on a gravel road, crashing through a fence and flattening a speed limit sign.
The crash happened over the weekend in the 8100 block of South Stewart Road in southern Ada County. The property owner called deputies early Saturday evening after discovering the damage.
A 12-foot section of the wooden fence was smashed in the wreck. Deputies say that section of Stewart Road is covered in gravel, but is set to be paved soon. The 35 mph speed limit was dropped to 20 mph until that happens.
The driver fled the scene after the crash. Anyone with information should call Ada County Dispatch at 377-6790.
