BAKER CITY, Ore. - One person died and three others were seriously injured in a rollover crash along I-84 west of Baker City Saturday night.
Oregon State Police say just after 10:30 p.m., 30-year-old Todd Pratt, from Blackfoot, Idaho, was driving east on I-84 when his Ford F-350 struck an elk in roadway. Pratt lost control and went off the road into the median, where both the pickup and the trailer it was hauling rolled.
The pickup's occupants, all from Idaho, were seriously injured, police said. Todd Pratt and 61-year-old Joe Pratt, also from Blackfoot, were taken by air ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. The other two passengers, 60-year-old Tanda Kay Pratt and 23-year-old Austin Parker were taken by ground ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Baker City.
Police say Tanda Pratt later died at the hospital.
Troopers continue to investigate the crash.
