NAMPA -- Police on Sunday identified the driver who they say crashed into a home, injuring himself and three other people.
The crash happened just before 1:30 a.m. on East Colorado Street, just south of Northwest Nazarene University.
Police say the driver, 37-year-old Christopher R. Slack, of Nampa, was driving at high speeds, when he failed to navigate a turn and slammed into the home.
Slack had to be extricated from the car and was taken to the hospital, along with two passengers in his car.
A woman who was sleeping inside a bedroom where the car hit was also taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries.
Police say alcohol was likely involved and charges are pending.
The accident is still under investigation.
