BOISE -- An unattended package found in the Boise Airport parking garage Sunday afternoon was found to be harmless by bomb technicians, police said.

The cardboard package was reported just before 1 p.m., Boise Police spokesperson Lynn Hightower said. The bomb squad responded and determined the package was not a threat.

Investigators have the package and are looking into where it came from.

According to Hightower, airport operations were not disrupted, but there was some traffic blockage while police investigated.
