CALDWELL -- A Nampa woman, accused of stabbing her boyfriend to death, is scheduled go to trial in March.
Earlier this month, Susana Quijano pleaded not guilty to felony charges of second-degree murder, use of a deadly weapon in the commission of a felony, and destruction of evidence.
Prosecutors say Quijano stabbed her boyfriend, Santiago Delgado Quinjada, once in the chest at his Nampa home on October 12.
She then put the knife back in her purse and fled the scene, according to police. The stabbing is not believed to be premeditated.
Quijano was arrested the following day while walking down a Nampa street.
During a conference hearing Wednesday morning, the judge in the case scheduled Quijano's jury trial to begin on March 4, 2014.
