NAMPA -- A job fair today will have more than 130 employers looking to hire veterans, active duty military, members of the National Guard and Reserve, as well as military spouses.

This is the third annual Hero2Hired job fair and it will be hosted at the Idaho Center in Nampa from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Employers at the fair are planning to hold interviews right on the spot, with interested job seekers. If you want to attend Hero2Hired as a job seeker or employer, click here to register online.

At last year's job fair, 81 were extended job offers at the fair and an additional 327 hires were made because of the fair throughout the year.

Free shuttle services are being offered by ValleyRide Regional Transit to those looking to attend the Hero2Hired job fair.

The shuttle will run from the Boise Towne Square Mall to the Idaho Center, starting at 9:30 a.m. and continuing through 4:30 p.m.

According to transit officials, sidewalk boards showing pick-up and drop-off times will be at both locations.

The transit will also offer a free one-day pass if Boise veterans need a bus ride to the Boise Towne Square Mall, or Nampa-Caldwell veterans need a ride to the Idaho Center.

To request the free one-day pass, call Mark Carnopis at (208) 258-2702.
