BOISE -- All westbound lanes are back open on Interstate 84 near Simco Road after a trailer full of baking soda caught fire Wednesday night.

Haz-mat crews, along with Elmore County Sheriff's deputies and Idaho State Police, worked to clean up the scene overnight about 3.5 miles from the Ada/Elmore County line.

Troopers tell KTVB that shortly before 9 p.m., Enayat Sarang, 51, of British Columbia, Canada, was westbound on I-84 when a tire on his commercial trailer caught fire. The fire then spread to the rest of the trailer.

State police say westbound traffic was block for several hours while crews cleaned up; however, no one was hurt.
