BOISE - Bureau of Land Management crews have contained a grass fire burning near Lucky Peak.

The fire was reported at 9 a.m. Friday west of the reservoir near Spring Shores Marina. It burned about 20 acres.

Two engines, two helicopters and a single-engine air tankers were dispatched to the blaze.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

BLM spokesman Kevin Moriarty urged people camping or recreating during the holiday weekend to keep fire danger in mind.

Just be safe out there, make sure you're not dragging anything along the road - any metal or anything, he said. Be really safe with fireworks. Be really safe if there is any type of campfire or anything like that.

Moriarty said an abundance of cheatgrass and other dry fuels was helping spread the fire.
