A Boise man is facing multiple felony charges after police say he fired a gun inside a North End home while several children were inside.
Officers say Jimmy Thomas Longden, 41, was involved in an ongoing dispute with someone who lived inside the house when the gun discharged Saturday morning. Bullets went into the walls and floor of the home, but no one was hurt.
Three children were reported to be inside the house when the gun was fired.
Police say Longden was unarmed and waiting outside the home when officers arrived. He was arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail.
Longden has been charged with four felonies: three counts of injury to a child and one count of unlawful discharge of a firearm into a dwelling. He is scheduled for arraignment June 9.
