NEW PLYMOUTH -- A commercial vehicle overturned just south of New Plymouth Saturday, spilling fertilizer onto the road.

Officers with Idaho State Police say 18-year-old Johnathan Phillips was turning east onto State Highway 72 when his truck overturned, spilling the fertilizer he was carrying onto the road. Highways 30 and 72 were both blocked for more than three and a half hours while the truck and fertilizer was removed.

Phillips was taken by ambulance to the Saint Alphonsus Hospital in Ontario, Ore. Idaho State Police are still investigating the accident.
