BOISE A man who has five DUI convictions in the past three years is facing another driving under the influence charge.

A Boise Police officer stopped 42-year-old Clinton Born Jr. as his vehicle pulled into a hotel parking lot on South Vista Avenue at 4 a.m. Monday.

After getting out of the vehicle, the officer noticed the man leaned against it to keep from falling. Born failed field sobriety tests and his blood alcohol content was measured at .213 and .208, well above the legal limit in Idaho.

Because of the previous DUI convictions, police tell us this latest DUI charge is a felony. Born is also charged with driving without privileges. Police say he has a suspended California driver s license. He was booked into the Ada County Jail.
