BOISE -- The Boise State Bronco men's basketball team (15-8, 5-5) faces off against the Aggies of Utah State University (13-9, 3-7) at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8 at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum in Logan, Utah.

The Broncos have walked a fine line this season, and right now they sit at 15-8 overall, but they're actually not far from being 21-2.

In six on their eight losses, the Broncos have been within three points of the lead with 30 seconds to go in the game. Their latest heartbreaker happen on February 5, on their home floor, when they failed to finish.

On Friday, coach Rice talked about that final play against the Aztecs.

That's my job. Second guess everything we do, whether is good and bad, when you look at film, when you go 'Oh we coulda done this better,' we can do that better and how are we gonna do this, said Rice. We have a philosophy of what we do at the end of those games, is attack as quick as we can, and we didn't do a good job of that.

The Broncos might get a little boost Saturday when they take on the Aggies, as Coach Rice said Jeff Elorriaga, who is battling a bad back, will be a game-time decision against the Aggies.

The game will be televised on CBS Sports Network, which can be found on the following local channels.

  • CableOne -- 332 & 410 (HD)
  • Cox Cable -- 234 & 1234 (HD)
  • Direct TV -- 221
  • Dish Network -- 158

On the radio, it can be heard on 670 KBOI, as well as streamed live at

This game marks the 38th meeting between the two teams since their first meeting back in 1974. The Broncos are 9-28 overall against the Aggies.

However on the road, the Broncos are 0-17 all-time on the road against Utah State and will be looking for their first win.

Boise State beat the Aggies at Taco Bell Arena back on January 18, 78-74.
