BOISE -- The theme of the Boise State women's basketball team over the last few years has been survival. The injury bug has bitten the Broncos frequently, and this year is no different.

Boise State was trying to get closer to .500 on the season today, hosting Cal State-Fullerton at Taco Bell Arena.

The game was back and forth all afternoon -- The two teams were tied 8 times and there were 6 lead changes.

But in the end, the Broncos came out on top, winning 66-64.

The win ends a three-game losing streak for Boise State.

Miquelle Askew led the Broncos with 23 points off the bench, while Deanna Weaver chipped in 12 points.

Next up the Broncos open Mountain West conference play on the road at Fresno State on January 4.
