BOISE -- Six people, including three children, were taken to a local hospital Wednesday night after a Jeep hit a car on Meridian Road near the intersection of Hubbard Road.

The accident happened when a woman driving a Jeep Cherokee hit the side of a Ford Crown Victoria, according to the Ada County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies say a man, woman, and three children were riding in the Crown Victoria.

All six accident involved in the accident were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to reports.

Officials say the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
