BOISE -- A Boise man was arrested Friday night for trafficking marijuana through the mail.

It was part of a month long investigation between police and the U.S. Postal Service.

Twenty-three-year-old, Ryan Ricks was arrested at his home soon after he received a package in the mail that contained over two pounds of marijuana. The marijuana has an estimated street value of $3,500.

Detectives believe Ricks has been involved in the sale of marijuana in the community.

The investigation into this case is still ongoing at this time.
