BOISE -- A Melba woman suspected of killing a Nampa man inside his home is scheduled to be back in court Tuesday for a preliminary hearing.

Thirty-four-year-old Nicole Kirtley was charged with first-degree murder and grand theft back in February.

The Canyon County Sheriff's Office says Kirtley admitted to killing 59-year-old George Richardson while she was in jail.

According to Kirtley's arrest report, she also told the inmate she wasn't going to be raped again and did not feel bad about killing the person.

Sheriff Kieran Donahue would not say if there was a motive for the killing.
