CALDWELL - The College of Idaho officially introduced former UCLA assistant, Scott Garson, as their new men's head basketball coach Monday.

Garson spent the last nine seasons with the Bruins, including the last seven as an assistant under legendary head coach Ben Howland.

During his time in Westwood, CA, he helped UCLA to three consecutive Final Fours (2006-08), three consecutive Pac-10 regular-season titles (2006-08) and NCAA Tournament in 2005-09 and 2011-12.

In addition to serving on Howland's staff, Garson spend five years (1999-2004) as an assistant to Hall of Fame coach Rick Majerus at Utah.

Prior to that, Garson served as an administrative assist and video coordinator at Pepperdine from 1998-99, when current Washington head coach Lorenzo Romar was there.
