I was thinking of where do I have all my ambulances stationed, said Mann, I was looking at all the ambulances out there and the triage and I was thinking, 'Do we have enough for any situation?'
More than 2,000 people are signed up for the race in Coeur d'Alene.
Event officials for Iron Man said they are keeping their current safety plan for the triathlon. They say they will plan all events in coordination with public safety agencies.
