BOISE-- Police and firefighters were called to the scene of a two-vehicle accident with injuries near 27th and Jefferson streets in Boise just after 3 p.m. Thursday.

Police say a man driving a black Mercury sedan apparently drove through a stop sign at the intersection, then crashed into a white Toyota sedan.

The black Mercury went through a fence and hit a small building on theBoise Greek Orthodox Church property.

Police say the man driving the Mercury was trapped inside the car and had to be extricated by rescuers.
