CALDWELL -- Firefighters responded to a house fire in Caldwell Thursday night.

Firefighters say the home on the corner Pride Lane and Karcher Road is severely damaged after a fire broke out in the living room-kitchen area.

Due to its remote location and no access to fire hydrants, the Caldwell Fire Department called on four neighboring departments to assist on the fire, which took about 30 minutes to put out.

Crews from Nampa, Middleton, Marsing, and Wilder all responded.

Officials say no one was injured, but the family was displaced.
