GARDEN CITY - An argument over parking ended with one man in jail after police say he rammed his company truck into another vehicle.
Twenty-three-year-old Jordan Ross Chappell of Nampa was arrested Tuesday evening in Garden City. Officers say a parking dispute at 309 East 39th Street escalated when Chappell spit in a 63-year-old man's face, then threw food at the man's vehicle.
Police say Chappell then climbed into his truck and intentionally rammed the other man's vehicle with his own. The victim was unhurt, but the collision caused about $3,000 in damage to his vehicle.
The suspect fled the scene, police say, but was arrested a short time later.
Chappell was booked into the Ada County Jail and charged with felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor leaving the scene of an accident. He is set to appear in court Wednesday afternoon.
