BOISE -- A Boise man faces a felony marijuana trafficking charge after police say he received marijuana through the mail.

The arrest of 21-year-old Andrew Ralston on Friday was the result of an investigation by Boise Police and U.S. Postal Inspectors, police said.

Investigators say officers detained Ralston Friday afternoon after he picked up a package from a Boise post office. Officers had a search warrant for the package and say it contained about three pounds of marijuana sent from a California address.

Police say they searched Ralston's home and found more pot, totaling almost seven pounds, as well as other illegal drugs including Exctasy and possibly LSD.

More charges are possible, police said.

Ralston is expected to make his first court appearance on Tuesday.
