BOISE -- The Idaho Department of Correction says a 42-year-old resident of a Boise-area prison work center that went missing from her job last Friday is back in custody.
Leah McCormack was last seen at a motel in Boise around 3 p.m. on Aug 2.
Bonneville County Sheriff's deputies got a tip that McCormack was in Idaho Falls. She was arrested at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Correction officials say McCormack's criminal record includes convictions for possession of a controlled substance in Bannock County and burglary in Bonneville County. She had been living at the East Boise Community Work Center and was scheduled to be released in September 2017.
She now faces a possible escape charge.
