BOISE -- Boise State University officials say the new football complex is on track to be complete by July 1.

Boise State shared some aerial photographs Monday of the progress.

The state-of-the-art building will have a recruiting lounge, a players lounge and a weight room big enough for the entire football team to work out together. Of course, it will have blue turf.

Boise State President Dr. Bob Kustra told us last April that this new facility is just the beginning and will give BSU a competitive advantage.

Gene Bleymaier, who served as athletic director at Boise State University for 31 years, was the driving force behind what will be one of the nicest college football facilities in the country.

With that in mind, Jeff Caven and Larry Williams, the lead donors on the new football complex, requested at the time of their donation in November of 2010, that the facility be named in honor of Bleymaier.
