PORTLAND -- A North Portland man has been accused of drugging and sexually assaulting several women, police said.

Marlin Brandt Pohlman, 43, was arrested for several sex crimes as he returned from Thailand to Portland International Airport early Wednesday morning, said Portland Police Sgt. Pete Simpson.

Detectives interviewed four women who said Pohlman had drugged them before sexually assaulting them, Simpson said. Investigators located what they believe is a drug lab at Pohlman's home, in the 7100 block of North Chase Avenue.

Pohlman was jailed on 25 charges, including two counts each of kidnapping and rape, and four counts of causing someone to ingest a controlled substance. His bail was more than $2 million.

Detectives said there may have been additional victims. Anyone with information was asked to call Detective Tracy Chamberlin at (503) 823-0400 or email
