BOISE -- A Utah State football player is charged with trespassing and battery after an incident at a Boise nightclub early Sunday morning.

According to a Boise Police report, 21-year-old Sini Tauauvea was trespassing at a bar near 6th and Main streets just before 2 a.m. He then went into another bar run by the same management and was told to leave. He refused and got in a scuffle with security, pushing one of the officers.

Tauauvea was arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail on the two misdemeanor charges. He has since posted bond and been released from jail.

The junior defensive lineman is a member of Utah State's football team that won the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl at Bronco Stadium Saturday afternoon. The Aggies routed the Toledo Rockets 41-15.
