BOISE -- The Boise State football team jumped back into the top 25 of the latest BCS standings revealed Sunday night.

The Broncos checked in at No. 22 following Saturday's 42-14 win over Colorado State.

The team was ranked No. 26 in last week's standings.

Earlier in the day, the Broncos moved up two spots, from No. 23 to No. 21 in the Harris Interactive Poll and held steady at No. 22 in the USA Today Coaches' Poll. The Harris and coaches' polls make up the human component of the BCS standings.

Boise State is currently sitting just outside the Associated Press Top 25 in the 26th spot.

There was some shuffling at the top of the BCS standings following losses by Oregon and Kansas State Saturday. Notre Dame (11-0) moved into the top spot for the first time.

The Fighting Irish, ranked No. 1 in both polls and by the computer ratings, needs only to beat slumping rival Southern California on Saturday in Los Angeles to earn its first trip to the BCS title game.

Alabama (No. 2) and Georgia (No. 3) also have rivalry games Saturday. The Crimson Tide hosts Auburn and the Bulldogs play Georgia Tech at home.

If the favorites win, the SEC championship game will be a national semifinal of sorts, with the winner advancing to the BCS title game.
