Jerome County -- One person died and two others were injured in a two car crash on Interstate 84 Saturday afternoon, Idaho State Police said.

The crash happened just after 1 p.m. near the town of Eden in Jerome County.

Police say 53-year-old Rebecca Lock, of Twin Falls, and 46-year-old Alladin Umarov, of Boise, were both driving east on I-84 when Lock attempted to change lanes. Umarov was forced off the road, but as he returned to the roadway, his car struck Lock's causing her car to roll several times.

A juvenile passenger in Lock's car died at the scene of the crash, police said.

Umarov and Lock were taken to St. Lukes Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls.

The left eastbound lane was closed for about two hours will police investigated.
