BOISE -- It may be spring, but the Boise State Bronco football team is already thinking about the fall and the upcoming season.

As part of that, the Broncos wrapped up their spring training with the Blue and Orange game, a scrimmage between the offense and defense.

Boise State's defense, the blue team,took the day in a 21-13 win over the offense, thewhite team.

Thedefense netted their points throughforced three-and-outs, sacks, turnoversand holding the offense to a field goal in the red zone.

On the offensive side,there were two completed field goals,one from Dan Goodale at 31 yards and another from Michael Frisina at 27 yards, and a 10 yard touchdown run from freshman quarterback Grant Hedrick on the final play of the game.

Bryan Douglas picked up the only interception of the game.

Kellen Moore completed 5 of his 14 passes for 50 yards. Joe Southwick completed 7 out of 17 for 120 yards and Hedrick completed 7 out of 13 for 52 yards.

Geraldo Hiwat led the receivers with five catches and 97 yards.

Drew Wrightled the night for rushing yards, with eight carriespicking him up 24 yards.

Boise State willhave its season opener against Georgia in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game, Sept. 3.The game will be televised by ESPN.
