BOISE - A 23-year-old Nampa man pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute methamphetamine in federal court Thursday.

Martin Adam Hernandez was arrested in February after police pulled over the car he was riding in with co-defendent Jason Martin. Two pounds of methamphetamine was found in the vehicle during a search.

Investigators say the pair got the drugs in California earlier that month, and had plans to sell it in Idaho.

Hernandez faces up to 20 years in federal prison at his September sentencing. Martin is set to enter a guilty plea to the same charge Tuesday.
