BOISE -- The American Red Cross of Greater Idaho is celebrating the grand opening of its new location today.
The new location is on Franklin Road in Boise.
Monday's event is just one of many scheduled in 2014 in observance of the 100th anniversary of the Greater Idaho Chapter of the American Red Cross.
It s really about one-stop shop so you can do and donate blood, come take a class, we wanted to create something for the community that they can come and use a variety of Red Cross services, said Nicole Sirak-Irwin, Regional CEO, American Red Cross.
The American Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters. It also supplies about 40 percent of the nation's blood.
