BOISE -- Expect to see and hear more military aircraft than usual this coming week.
That's because Mountain Home Air Force Base is hosting a five-day exercise.
The Gunfighter Flag exercise includes planes and troops from the U.S. Air Force, Marine Corps and Great Britain.
People in Boise and Mountain Home will likely see and hear the aircraft on Monday through Thursday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
A final flight is scheduled from 1 p .m. to 4 p.m. Friday.
The Air Force says the exercise is designed to prepare terminal attack controller teams for upcoming deployments, and to provide proficiency training.
