BOISE -- Banks across the country are working to upgrade their ATMs before April.

Most ATMs run on Windows XP. Microsoft is getting rid of tech support for XP on April 8, making it a target for hackers.

Zions Bank also brought on an external consultant to help them in developing a new security software. Much of that software is already installed.
