BOISE -- Police are looking for a man who robbed Jackson convenience store early Wednesday morning.

The robbery was reported at the store near the intersection of Maple Grove and Ustick roads just before 2:30 a.m.

Witnesses told police a man walked into the store and demanded cash. He was last seen running away on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The man did not show a weapon to employees and no one was injured in the robbery, police said.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned man, about 6 feet tall, with short, dark hair. He was clean shaven and may have blue eyes.

Witnesses told police the robber was wearing a black hoodie and a black mask over his face.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.

This was the third robbery in the area over the past week. A man with a gun robbed a Garden City Subway restaurant on Wednesday night. And a Boise couple is accused of robbing a Boise Maverik convenience story on Friday.
