BOISE Vandals used spray paint, glue and fire extinguishers to cause more than $100,000 in damages to a building under construction in west Boise over the weekend.

Boise Police are investigating the vandalism that occurred on the 5700 block on N. Meeker Avenue. The sign in front of the building says it is the future home of

Officers were called to the scene Monday morning and found extensive damage to desks, walls, carpets and windows. The vandals also set fire to construction blueprints.

Detectives say the destruction is both senseless and widespread, and they estimate the damages to be in excess of $100,000.
