GARDEN CITY -- Two more mountain lion sightings were reported in Garden City Wednesday afternoon, near the south side of the Boise River bank.

The first call came in just after 1:30 p.m. with the mountain lion spotted near West Marigold Street and North Garrett Street, about a quarter mile south of the Boise River.

Shortly thereafter, another sighting was report to police, this time in a field at the west end of Duck Lake Lane. This is only a half-mile away from the first sighting.

Police are encouraging people to walk in pairs or more, and be vigilant about small children and pets.
