MERIDIAN -- An Ada County weed abatement truck was involved in a crash Thursday morning that caused it to roll on its top and spill herbicide across the road.

Meridian Police say the driver of the truck stopped at what he believed to be a four-way stop then continued into the the intersection of Cherry and McDermott. A blue Honda heading east on Cherry Lane hit the truck causing it to flip over.

Crews are working to clean up the liquid that spilled on the road. Police say the weed spray is not toxic.

Meridian Police say a woman in her 20's walked away from the accident with minor injuries, and the man driving the Ada County truck was not hurt. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.

Officers are continuing to investigate. No citations have been issued at this time.

The intersection was blocked for more than an hour.
