EMMETT -- A rollover crash just outside of Emmett shut down Highway 16 for several hours Monday morning and sent two people to the hospital.
Idaho State Police says around 3:45 a.m., Misty Lynn, 20, of Emmett was northbound in a 1988 Toyota pickup on Freezeout Hill. She fell asleep, and drifted across the oncoming land and onto the shoulder. She then lost control of the truck, which rolled and landed on its top.
Lynn was transported to Walter Knox Memorial Hospital in Emmett.
Her passenger, Larry Murray, 21, of Emmett, was flown by Life Flight to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. No word on their conditions.
Police say both occupants were wearing seatbelts and alcohol was not a factor.
No citations have been issued. The crash remains under investigation.
