CALDWELL, Idaho -- Five people were arrested for burglary and grand theft Sunday morning.

At 4:11 a.m. Canyon County Sheriff's Deputies received a report of a burglary in progress at a farm on Purple Sage Road. A witness reported several people in two vehicles had cut through a fence and several padlocks and were stealing undisclosed items from the farm and outbuildings on the property. The witness was able to get the license plate numbers from the Ford F-250 and a Ford Expedition involved.

The officers arrived on scene and completed a high risk stop on the Ford F-250 as it attempted to flee the area. Three people were taken into custody out of that pickup.

An hour later, the Caldwell Police Department located and arrested another suspect near the Holiday Motel. Shortly after that, Canyon County Detectives made a traffic stop on the Ford Expedition near the Holiday Motel and took another male suspect into custody.

The five suspects arrested were 18-year-old Evin Devan, 25-year-old Darrin Ryan Boren, 20-year-old Lauren M. Jones and 23-year-old Jenny J. Osborne, all of Caldwell. Also arrested was 39-year-old Dana Brent Harris of Montgomery, Alabama. All were charged with burglary and grand theft. Harris is facing an additional charge for the possession of illegal drugs.
