NAMPA -- A distracted driving crash in Nampa sent one man to the hospital Saturday morning.

Officials with Idaho State Police say 17-year-old Tanner Sayer was driving north on Karcher Road when he looked down and didn't notice traffic slowing for a red light. That's when he hit the car of 39-year-old Susana Marquez-Delgado. That impact then sent Delgado's car colliding into another car, driven by Bruce Thompson. Thompson was taken to St. Lukes in Nampa by ambulance.

Everyone involved in the crash was wearing a seat belt. The crash blocked traffic for more than an hour while the vehicles were removed.
