BOISE -- The annual Gene Harris Jazz Festival gets underway at Boise State University Wednesday.
This will be the 17th year for the event.
The two-day event features various educational activities and, of course, a whole lot of jazz.
This year's headliner is Wycliffe Gordon, a renowned musician and composer.
The festival will also feature a number of student big bands from Idaho and surrounding states.
The event runs throughout the day and evening Wednesday and Thursday.
Single day passes are $15 and are available at the door and online.
